Gelechiidae 1

Jeff in a news article thinks it probably belongs to this family, the moth was taken by sweeping on 25.8.2002 at UK O.S. map Ref. SK3887.

You can't see any mouthparts just a mass of scales, approximate length of insect in picture 5.5 mm to wing tips.
